Knitting  Catharsis, Renewal & Reimagination

Join artisans from the Bosnian and South Asian communities to explore the role craft practices play in women's resilience and survival. from joyful celebration, marriage, and birth to war, poverty, and turmoil.  

There will be multiple instructors and opportunities to learn: 
Cast on, Knit stitch, Purl stitch, Introductory pattern reading, Increase, Decrease, Cable, and Binding off.

What you'll need

  • Knitting Needles (may be borrowed at studio or purchased for $5) 
  • Curiosity, patience, an open mind 
  • Yarn will be provided
